The Mobile bottom navigation section is a bar along the bottom of the screen on phones and tablets. It holds buttons for the home page, the menu, search, the wishlist, the cart and the customer's account, each an icon over a short label. On screens narrower than 400 px, the bar shows the icons without labels. It hides on screens 1000 px wide and up, where the header shows the same things. In the editor sidebar, it is under Header, after the Header section. To see it in the editor, switch the preview to mobile.
The bar shows when a page opens and near its end. It slides away while a customer scrolls down and comes back when they scroll up. Customers whose device is set to reduce motion see it all the time.
The menu on small screens
Menu in this bar is the only button that opens the store menu on screens narrower than 1000 px, because the header hides its menu links there. If you remove or hide this section, customers on phones and tablets have no menu.
The menu slides up from the bottom of the screen, and customers can swipe it down to close it. It shows your logo, a light/dark switch when Color mode is Auto, the links of the header's Main menu, and your social links. A link with a Product cards mega menu also shows its products, one card at a time. The Header section sets the menu and the mega menus.
