Footer section

The Footer section closes every page with your store's links, a newsletter signup or a large call to action, social and payment icons, and the copyright line. In the editor sidebar, it is under Footer. It sits on a panel with rounded corners in your palette's primary color, black in the default palette. The page scrolls up to uncover it.

Effects

Footer parallax sets how far the footer rises into place while the page scrolls up to uncover it, as a share of the footer's height. It goes from 0% to 60%, and 60% is the default. At 0%, the footer stays still.

Blocks

Each layout has its own blocks in fixed places. Select one in the editor sidebar to change its text or settings.

  • Centered: a Text block for the line at the top, a Text block for the large heading, a Group block that holds two buttons, each a Button block, and a Social links block.

  • Image and link columns: Text blocks for the heading and the paragraph beside the photo, a Text block for the signup heading and one for its paragraph, a Newsletter form block, and a Social links block.

  • Wordmark: a Social links block. This layout has no newsletter signup. Fang shows its signup in a Subscription section with the Horizontal layout, placed right before the footer.

The social icons link to the profiles you enter in Social media settings.

You cannot add blocks to the Footer section itself. To add a button to the Centered layout, click Add block inside the Group block that holds the two buttons. The other layouts have no place for extra blocks.
