The Details block lists short facts, each a small label over its value, such as Email over your email address. Each fact is a Detail block inside it. To add one, click Add block in a Section, Card rail, Contact form, Offcanvas drawer, Orbit, Share, Subscription or Video section, or inside a Group block or Columns block, and select Details. It comes with two details, Email and Phone. The Contact form with details preset of the Contact form section has one beside the form.
Details settings
Setting
What it does
Columns
The most columns in a row, from 1 to 4, and 2 by default. A column is never narrower than 160 px, so a narrow space shows fewer columns. A phone shows at most two.
Width
How wide the block is. Text column keeps it to a centered column up to 864 px wide. Page width, the default, matches Page width in Layout settings. Full width runs from edge to edge of the section. Inside a Group or Columns block, it never grows past the space it has there.
Style
List, the default, shows each label in small letters over its value, with a thin line above each fact. Stats shows each value large, in the heading font, with its label under it in the lighter secondary text color. The lines then run across the whole row.
Detail settings
To add a fact, click Add block inside the Details block and select Detail. Only Detail blocks go inside a Details block. A Detail block also works on its own, in any of the places listed above.
Setting
What it does
Label
The small line over the value, such as Phone.
Value
The fact itself. Each line you type shows as its own line, for an address or opening hours.
Link
Turns the value into a link with a thin underline. For an email address, enter mailto: followed by the address, such as mailto:hello@example.com. For a phone number that starts a call, enter tel: followed by the number without spaces, such as tel:+15550100199. A page or a map link works too.
Width
How wide the detail is when it stands on its own. Inside a Details block, the column sets its width.
A detail with an empty Label or Value does not show, in the editor or on your store.
