Custom Liquid section

The Custom Liquid section shows the HTML or Liquid code you paste into it, such as an embed code from another service or a few lines of your own markup. Liquid is Shopify's template language, so the code can show store details such as your store's name or a list of collections. To add one, click Add section in the editor and select Custom Liquid. It works on any page except in the header and the footer.

Your code fills the page width, between the page margins, and uses the theme's fonts and colors.

Content

Custom liquid is the field for your code. It accepts HTML and Liquid. Code from an app or a widget provider goes here as they give it to you.

When the field is empty, the editor shows a dashed box with the message "Add custom Liquid to display content here." Your store shows no content in its place, but the section's padding, margin and background still take up space. Remove the section if you no longer use it.

To add code inside another section instead of in a row of its own, use the Custom liquid block. Add custom code compares the places where code can go.
