The Testimonials section shows what customers say about your store. It has quotes in cards and a row of large figures, such as your average rating. On a product page, it can show that product's own quotes and its rating from a reviews app. To add one, click Add section in the editor and select Testimonials.
The Testimonials preset has the heading Testimonials and one Testimonial block with sample text that asks for a real review. It has no Statistic blocks and no link. Replace the sample with quotes from your customers.
Layout
Alignment aligns the text of the heading, the figures and the cards. It shows with Grid, because Quote is always centered. Padding top, Padding bottom, Margin top and Margin bottom work as in other sections, and Section layout settings describes them.
Grid, the default, shows the figures in a row and the quotes in cards, side by side. Quote shows one quote at a time, large and centered, with dots under it to switch quotes. Customers can also swipe, drag, or use the arrow keys. Quote leaves out the Statistic blocks and the photos.
Columns
How many cards sit side by side, from 2 to 4. The default is 3. On a narrow screen, cards move to the next row instead of getting too narrow. Shows with Grid.
Link and Button label
A link in lighter text right after the heading, on the same line, such as View all, with a small arrow after it. Button label shows once Link has an address.
List metafield
The product metafield that holds the product's own quotes, written as namespace.key. The default is custom.reviews.
Show product rating
On a product page, shows the product's average rating and number of reviews from your reviews app, before the Statistic blocks. On by default. Shows with Grid.
Product pages
On a product page, the section can take its content from the product.
Quotes. When the product has entries in the metafield named in List metafield, they replace the Testimonial blocks. Each entry has an author, a title and a text. Its card has no photo and no circle for one. Show customer quotes on each product page explains how to set up the metafield.
Rating. With Show product rating on, the product's average rating shows as a large number with one decimal, such as 4.8, over the label Average rating with one star before it. The number of reviews shows next to it, over the label Reviews. These come from the rating your reviews app saves on each product. Show ratings from a reviews app lists what the app needs to do.
A product without entries shows the Testimonial blocks. The Statistic blocks show on every product, after the rating.
Motion
Dark moment, Rise on scroll and Chapter title work as in every section. Section motion settings describes them.
Statistic blocks
A large figure with a short label under it, such as 4.9 over Average store rating. Show star puts a small star before the label. Statistics show only with Grid. A statistic with an empty Value is hidden on your store, and the editor shows a dash in its place.
