Offcanvas drawer section

The Offcanvas drawer section is a side menu that slides in from the left side of the screen. You build its content from blocks: links with icons, text, a newsletter form, social links, and more. Your logo sits at its top. In the editor sidebar, it is the Offcanvas drawer section under Overlays. Select it to open the drawer in the preview.

In the Checkmate style, the drawer holds five links with icons at the top, and a newsletter signup and social links at the bottom.

On screens narrower than 1000 px, the drawer slides up from the bottom of the screen, and customers can swipe it down to close it.

The button that opens it

The drawer opens from the menu button at the left end of the Announcement bar section, which Show menu button in that section turns on, and from any link to #OffcanvasDrawer, such as a menu link or a button. The header has no button for it. The Fang style ships without an announcement bar, so its drawer stays closed until you add an Announcement bar section or a link to #OffcanvasDrawer.

The drawer is separate from the store menu that Menu opens on phones. That menu lists the links of the header's Main menu, while this drawer shows only the blocks you add here. Add a side menu walks through setting it up.

Blocks

To add content, click Add block in the Offcanvas drawer section. The drawer accepts the theme's blocks and blocks from apps you have installed. They stack from top to bottom in their order in the sidebar. Blocks that fit a side menu:
