Page sections
The main section of each kind of page, such as the product page, the cart or a blog post.
Articles
- Product information sectionThe top of every product page, with the photos on one side and the title, choices and Add to cart button on the other.
- Collection sectionThe product grid of every collection page, with its heading, filters, sorting and page links.
- Collections grid sectionThe page at /collections that lists your collections as cards or chips under a heading.
- Search sectionThe search results page, with a search box and results grouped into products, articles and pages.
- Cart page sectionThe full cart page at /cart, with the items on one side and the subtotal and checkout button on the other.
- Blog sectionThe page that lists the posts of a blog, with tag links under the heading and page links at the end.
- Article sectionThe page of a single blog post, with its title, date, featured image, text and comments.
- Page sectionThe title and text of a page you write in your Shopify admin, such as a shipping or returns page.
- Not found sectionThe 404 page that opens at a link that leads nowhere, with a large 404, a short message and two buttons.
- Password sectionThe page visitors see before launch, with your logo, a message and a field for the store password.
Each kind of page, such as a product page, the cart or a blog post, has one main section that shows the page's own content. Its settings change every page of that kind that uses the same template. To edit one, select the template at the top of the editor first.
