Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Checkout Beast collects through www.checkoutbeast.com, its docs and our support, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

What you send us. When you contact support by chat or email, we receive your name, email address, the message text, and anything else you include, such as your store URL, a theme preview link or screenshots.

Support chat. The chat on every page is run for us by Poise (poise.so). It receives the page you are on, your referrer, browser language, time zone, window size, user agent, and a city and country derived from your IP address. The full IP address is kept for 90 days for abuse prevention. See Poise’s Privacy Policy.

Docs. The docs at /docs are a help center that Poise hosts for us. When you read them, Poise receives the page address, your IP address and your user agent, and any answer you give to “Was this article helpful?”.

Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which processes your IP address and request details to serve pages and protect the site from abuse.

Analytics. We use Visitors (visitors.now), a privacy-oriented analytics service, to count pageviews and see which pages people read. It receives the page address, your referrer, device and browser details, and a location derived from your IP address. It sets no cookie on this site, and it records nothing when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. See Visitors’ Privacy Policy. We run no advertising trackers.

Purchases

You buy our themes in the Shopify Theme Store. Shopify takes the payment and handles it under Shopify’s Privacy Policy. We never see your payment details.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies, analytics included. The support chat records whether its panel is open in your browser’s session storage, which the browser clears when you close the tab.

How we use your information

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, which process it to run the site, the docs and support, and when the law requires us to disclose it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. To use these rights, write to us from the contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top shows the last update.
